Lead Front-end Developer

We are actively seeking a qualified Lead Front-end Developer in Brazil, either as an employee (CLT) or as an independent contractor (PJ). This professional will work with the Brazil Country Head to build and lead a team of developers. They will be responsible for building the 'client-side' of our web applications and leading other front-end developers. They should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

• Lead a team of frontend developers.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to produce the best solution given a set of technical and business requirements.
• Employ modern development standards and practices with today's tools and frameworks to develop software applications that surprise and delight.
• Contribute to the production of client deliverables such as detailed design documentation, test plans, and well-documented code.
• Foster trusted partnerships with coworkers and clients.
• Produce working prototypes that explore new approaches to UI design and delight customers.
• Develop tested and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (SASS/LESS).
• Create high-performance applications for mobile and desktop with cross-browser compatibility.
• Maintain high fidelity to branding requirements.
• Ensure that the integrity of design and user experience standards is held throughout development.
• Maintain positive and productive working relationships with stakeholders, peers, and leadership.

What we'd love to see:

• Proven work experience as a frontend developer.
• Hands-on experience with markup languages.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; TypeScript preferred.
• Experience with React preferred. Vue, Angular, or other front-end frameworks are a bonus.
• Proficient with Git.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
• Understanding of layout aesthetics.
• Knowledge of SEO principles.
• Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop, and content management systems.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
• Fluent ability to speak, read, and write in the English language.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

Nice to have:

• Experience building 3D animations with Three.js and WebGL.
