AWS Cloud Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced English
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
•   AWS Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
•   Proven experience in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation).
•   Expertise in scripting languages (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.
•   Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments.
•   Experience with CI/CD tools and version control Git, Harness, TeamCity.
•   Understanding of network technologies (DNS, VPN, Firewall) and security protocols/practices.
•   Proficient in system monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).
•   Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
•   Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
•   Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
•   Experience in database management (SQL and NoSQL) and data migration strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Work at the US Central Time Zone
• Assess current IT infrastructure and applications, identifying opportunities for cloud-based solutions and enhancements.
•   Design and implement cloud solutions compatible with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
•   Architect, develop, and deploy robust, secure, and scalable cloud environments using AWS services.
•   Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
•   Develop, improve, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
•   Monitor performance in Datadog and provide a proactive resolution for problems or outages.
•   Ensure that backup, recovery, and security procedures are set up and performed as planned and necessary.
•   Document cloud architectures, procedures, and processes.
•   Work with development teams to enable automated testing and continuous deployment.
•   Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations for new technologies and services to enhance cloud capabilities.
